She received a BA in Fine Art: Sculpture and Environmental Art from The Glasgow School of Art in 2007. West is interested in the relationship between color, light, and spatial environments and how such sensory phenomena may have psychological and physical effects upon the viewer. She currently lives and works in Manchester, England.
