Yago Hortal

Yago Hortal was born in Barcelona, Spain in 1983. He received his BFA from the Universitat de Barcelona in 2006. Hortal's paintings are characterized by their bright, vivid colors, sometimes bordering on fluorescence, and their thick, abstract brushwork that frequently takes on the appearance of marble. He has had solo exhibitions across Europe and has participated in many group exhibitions as well. He currently lives and works in Barcelona.
