Joanna Newsom

Joanna Newsom was born in 1982 in California. She was signed to Drag City in 2004 and released her debut album “The Milk-Eyed Mender”. She then toured with Devendra Banhart and Vetiver, and headlined The Green Man Festival in Wales in 2005, 2007, and 2010. Her second album “Ys” was released in 2006 and third album “Have One On Me” in 2010. She is the subject of a tribute book entitled “Visions of Joanna Newsom”, published by Roan Press in 2010. She was chosen to perform at the All Tomorrow’s Parties festival in December 2011 in Minehead, England.
