Marcel Duchamp

Marcel Duchamp was born in 1887 in France. He is considered one of the most important artists of the 20^th century and often associated with the Dadaist and Surrealist movements. He challenged conventional thought about artistic processes and art marketing by subversive actions and art. He passed away in 1968 and his work is still exhibited worldwide.
