He was a physician and natural scientist credited with being the “father” of cymatics, the study of visible sound and vibration. He published the first volume of “Cymatics: The Study of Wave Phenomena” in 1967, which documents the effects of sound vibrations on fluids, powders, and liquid paste. The second volume was published in 1972, the same year he passed away.
