Levy was born in 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio. After a short stint in the Navy, Levy read and wrote everything he could in order to lose himself in the search for infinity. He found a spiritual outlet in Buddhism and a creative outlet in publishing on a small printing press. He is most known for “The North American Book of the Dead”, “Cleveland Undercovers”, “Suburban Monastery Death Poem”, and “Tombstone as a Lonely Charm”. He helped edit and write the single issue of “The Marijuana Review” in 1968 and published Cleveland’s first underground newspaper, “The Buddhist Third-Class Junkmail Oracle” in 1967 and 1968. He passed away in 1968.
