				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: left;">Born in Hannover, Germany in 1930, Dieter Roth is known as a unique member of the Fluxus movement. The Icelandic artist&#8217;s paintings, sculptures, artist&#8217;s books, installations and poetry were first featured in the Museum College of Art in Philadelphia. His work explored Constructionism and later Deconstructionism, toying with the variability, impermanence and irony of materials. Roth taught in the architecture department of Yale University, at the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, at the Watfort School of Art in London and the Düsseldorf Art Academy and passed away in 1998.</p>
