Gene Clark
An American singer-songwriter and founding member of The Byrds, Gene Clark was born in Tipton, Missouri in 1944. Known as The Byrd's main songwriter between 1964 and 1966, Clark signed with Columbia Records as a solo artist in 1967 and released the LP Gene Clark with the Gosdin Brothers. He was inducted to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in January of 1991 and passed away later that year.
