Jesse Winchester
Musician and songwriter Jesse Winchester was born in May 17, 1944 in Bossier City, Louisiana. The early part of his career included performing at local coffee houses throughout Canada, while he was in asylum from escaping the Vietnam War draft. He began recording in 1970, and released his self-titled album under the music label Ampex. He was nominated for Best Country Male Vocalist at the Juno Awards in 1990. Winchester released his tenth album, Love Filing Station, in 2009.
