John Cale
John Cale was born in Wales and is a musician, composer, singer, and record producer. He was a founding member of the rock band The Velvet Underground. He studied music at Goldsmiths College, University of London. Since leaving the band, he has released 30 albums, most notably Paris 1919, Fear, Slow Dazzle, and Helen of Troy. In 2010, he was appointed an officer of the Order of the British Empire.
