Judee Sill

American singer-songwriter Judee Sill was born in October 7, 1944 in Oakland, California.  Under the Asylum music label, she released her eponymous album Judee Sill and the album Heart Food.  Sill's lyrical inspiration drew from Christian stories of rapture and redemption.  Sill passed away in 1979.
