Marcos Valle
A Brazilian singer, songwriter and record producer, Marcos Valle was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1943. Valle is one of the most important and popular performers in the history of Brazilian pop, beginning his musical career at the early age of 19 after being named Brazil's leading Composer of the Year. His 1968 Verve debut, Samba '68, is known as a Brazilian classic. His most recent works are the 2010 album Estátican and a collaboration for the Red Hot Organization's most recent charitable album, "Red Hot+Rio 2" in 2011.
