Michael Chapman
Michael Chapman was born in 1941 in Yorkshire, England. Interestingly enough Chapman was an art and photography teacher prior to delving into a music career full time. He premiered in the 1967's London and Cornwall folk music circuits. In 1969, in collaboration with John Martyn and Roy Harper, Chapman released his first album Rainmaker under the music label Harvest. Chapman would go on to produce 29 more albums, with varying assemblages of folk and jazz. He continues to perform throughout the UK.
