Milton Nascimento
Milton Nascimento was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1942. A prominent Brazilian singer-songwriter and guitarist, Nascimento is famous for his falsetto and tonal range with highly acclaimed tunes such as "Maria, Maria", "Canção da América", "Tracessia", "Bailes de Vita" and “Coração de Estudante". His international success came with his appearance on Wayne Shorter's album Native Dancer in 1974. He has worked with the likes of Paul Simon, Cat Stevens, Herbie Hancock, Peter Gabriel and Duran Duran. He is currently collaborating with Jason Mraz.
