Prefab Sprout
The pop rock band from Newcastle, England, Prefab Sprout, became famous in the 1980's with eight of their albums reaching the Top 40 UK Albums Chart. Members included Wendy Smith, Feona Attwood, Neil Conti, Michael Salmon, and current members Paddy and Martin McAloon. Their work has been released under Kitchenware and EMI Liberty in the UK and Epic in the US. The band released their most recent album in 2001, though their official site closed in 2004.
