Known by his stage name, machinedrum, Travis Stewart was born in the early 1980s in Eden, North Carolina. The electronic muscision helped launch Merck Records and owns the New York-based Normrex Records. Stewert goes by several aliases, such as Syndrone and Sepalcure, the latter under which he recorded a song for the 2010 film Black Swan.
