Born in Vienna in the winter of 1940, Barbara Valentin is an Austrian film actress. Often appearing in films by director Rainer Werner Fassbinder, she is known for her roles in Welt am Draht, Effi Briest, Fear Eats the Soul, and Lili Marleen. She died in Munich in 2002.
