Georg Friedrich Händel
Georg Friedrich Händel was born in Germany in 1685. He studied in Hamburg, Halle, and Italy before settling in London in 1712 and becoming a nationalized British citizen in 1727. He is regarded as one of the greatest composers of all time, with works such as Alexander's Feast, Messiah, Music for the Royal Fireworks, The Harmonious Blacksmith, and Water Feast.
