Johann Sebastian Bach

Johann Sebastian Bach was born in March 1685, in Germany. He is a famous Baroque German composer, organist, harpsichordist, violist, and violinist. He worked in Weimar, Köthen, and Leipzig. Bach served as Director of Music to Leopold, Prince of Anhalt-Köthen, Cantor of Thomasschule in Leipzig, and Royal Court Composer to August III. His famous compositions include the Brandenburg Concertos, the Mass in B minor, the Well-Tempered Clavier, several cantatas, chorales, partitas, passions, and organ works.
