Ennio Morricone

Ennio Morricone was born in Rome, Italy on November 10, 1928. He is a famous Italian composer and conductor, known for his work on over 500 motion pictures and television series. In 2007, he received the Academy Honorary Award "for his magnificent and multifaceted contributions to the art of film music" and has been nominated for five Oscars. Morricone has composed for films such as The Battle of Algiers, A Fistful of Dollars, The Untouchables, and The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. Morricone is still actively composing.
