Francis Lai
Francis Lai was born on April 26, 1931, in Nice, France. His score for Claude Lelouche's A Man and a Woman gained him worldwide fame in 1966. His score for Love Story won him the 1970 Academy Award and Golden Globe for Best Original Score. He is also a composer of pop songs.
