She studied in London at the Working Men’s College, London College of Printing, and Goldsmith’s College from 1982-87. In the early 1990s, she emerged as one of the major Young British Artists. Her work is provocative and morbid. She was the subject of a BBC documentary, Two Melons and a Stinking Fish, in 1996.
