Anni Rossi
Anni Rossi was born in a small, culturally removed farm town in Minnesota. She started taking violin lessons and piano as a toddler but it was singing along to the hits of her youth that gave way to some of her stongest musical influences. She has traveled thoroughout the Midwest and on the National and European circuit, opening for Camera Obscura and The Ting Tings amongst other. Steve Albini produced her debut album, Rockwell. Her latest record, Heavy Meadow, was made with composer/drummer Devin Maxwell and engineer Matt Boynton and recorded at Matt's studio, Vacation Island in Brooklyn, a studio also used by Bat For Lashes, MGMT and Gang Gang Dance. She now resides in New York.
