Daito Manabe
Born in 1976, Daito Manabe is a Japanese artist, designer, programmer, DJ, Vj and Composer. After graduating from the Department of Mathematics, Tokyo University of Science, Manabe studied dynamic sensory programming at Japan's International Academy of Media Arts and Science. In 2006, he founded Rhizomatiks, a graphic and web design company. With a team of collaborators, including artist Takcom and choreographer MAKIKO, Manabe is a pioneer in techno-art-music-performance. He has won the Japan Media Arts Festival Excellence Prize twice and has been recommended by the jury on seven occasions.
