Ruriko Murayama
Born in Akita, Japan in 1968, Ruriko Murayama moved to Tokyo in 1990 where she studied batik on her own while working as a stage designer. From the early 2000s. she started to create lavish objects covered with beads, pearls, artificial flowers, lace and other materials obtained from handicraft shops. Her recent solo exhibitions include "Color and Cloat" Yamamoto Genda (Tokyo, 2009) and "Ruriko Murayama" Yamamoto Genda (Tokyo, 2007).
Ruriko Murayama is featured in Sanbusaku 3 三部作
