Pierre Molinier
Pierre Molinier was a born in Agen, France in 1900. He was a painter, photographer and "maker of objects." He began his career by painting landscapes, but his work turned towards a fetishistic eroticism early on. Molinier's enigmatic photographs continue to influence and engage artists, critics and collectors today. In the 1970s his health began to decline and at 76 years of age Molinier died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
